The State of the World

We are calling worldwide for printmakers to come forth wherever they may be to participate in a totally innovative, collective exhibition which will be curated and shown in the Gmuender Kunstverein Gallery.
We are a nonprofit art association, located in southern Germany that exhibits  contemporary fine art (painting, sculpture, graphic art, installation art etc). This open invitation has been designed to reach out to as many printmakers as possible so as to answer and respond to this central and pressing question: The State of the World

Technique requirements: All analogue (non-digital) printmaking techniques, woodcuts, linocuts, silkscreen …
Format: The artworks must be sent online (no originals). The Kunstverein will print the artwork in its original size (maximal size 113,5×159 cm)
The Theme: »The State of the World« can be approached and interpreted in any way chosen: politically, socially, scientifically, spiritually, philosophically etc. (The Kunstverein will be responsible for curating the exhibition).

> The form only allows one file per upload, so one form must be used for each submission

Worldwide presentation via Instagram so as to network as many printmakers as possible. Participation is free.
Closing date: 03/15/2023 Submissions later than March 03/08/2023 will be printed only up to 40 x 30 cm.
